Job Description

As a Sales Specialist at Synbiota Scientific, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth for our range of manufactured enzymes, molecular biology products, and lab supplies. Your responsibilities will involve a combination of inside sales and field sales activities to engage clients, close sales, and expand our market presence effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities with research labs, diagnostic centers, hospitals, and industrial clients. - Conduct sales visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase our offerings. - Follow up on inbound leads and proactively generate outbound sales through various communication channels. - Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and tenders to potential customers. - Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by converting leads into active customers. - Maintain accurate sales records using CRM and Excel for efficient tracking. - Develop strong client relationships, provide post-sales support, and ensure smooth order fulfillment by coordinating with internal teams. - Stay updated on product innovations and monitor competitor activities to strategize effectively. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Science (Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Microbiology, or related field) is preferred. - Prior experience in B2B sales, business development, or technical sales within the lab/biotech/healthcare sector is advantageous. - Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) are essential, with proficiency in Tamil considered a plus. - Self-driven, outgoing, and results-oriented personality with a focus on achieving targets. - Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required, and experience with CRM systems is beneficial. - Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
