As an Injection Moulding Operator/Supervisor at our reputed client in Mohali, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and high-quality production in the manufacturing industry. Your responsibilities will include: - **Machine Operation and Setup**: Setting up, monitoring, and operating injection moulding machines to produce plastic parts efficiently. - **Quality Control**: Inspecting parts to maintain quality standards, identifying defects, and taking corrective actions. - **Production Management**: Monitoring production metrics, managing raw material supply, and ensuring the team meets output and delivery targets. - **Troubleshooting**: Diagnosing and resolving machine or moulding process issues to optimize efficiency. - **Team Leadership (Supervisor)**: Leading, mentoring, and training operators and staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and enforcing discipline. - **Maintenance**: Coordinating with maintenance teams for routine checks and repairs to ensure uninterrupted production. - **Safety and Compliance**: Enforcing safety protocols, hygiene standards, and compliance with regulations. - **Continuous Improvement**: Implementing strategies to reduce waste, optimize cycle times, and drive improvement initiatives. - **Record Keeping**: Maintaining production records, shift reports, and downtime logs. **Key Skills and Qualifications**: - **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of injection moulding machines, equipment, materials, and processes. - **Problem-Solving**: Excellent analytical skills to address production issues effectively. - **Leadership**: Experience in a supervisory role with the ability to lead, motivate, and train a team. - **Quality Assurance**: Knowledge of quality control procedures and defect resolution methods. - **Communication**: Ability to collaborate with other departments for seamless operations. - **Safety Awareness**: Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
