Job Title: Manager – Plastic Injection Molding Operations

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Molding Manager to lead and oversee the entire molding operations. This role involves managing machine operators, optimizing production processes, ensuring quality compliance, maintaining equipment, and driving efficiency in the molding department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of plastic injection molding machines.
• Supervise and guide a team of operators, technicians, and support staff.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production to meet targets, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Oversee mould setup, process parameter settings, and troubleshooting to ensure consistent output.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
• Monitor raw material usage, reduce wastage, and manage inventory effectively.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, 5S practices, and company policies.
• Train and develop operators/technicians to enhance skills and productivity.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain product standards and resolve nonconformance issues.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production and efficiency reports.
• Drive initiatives for process improvement, cost reduction, and optimum machine utilization.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Plastic, or Polymer Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of experience in plastic injection molding, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong technical knowledge of injection molding machines, tools, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
• Proven leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with ISO/quality systems and safety standards.
• Strong communication, reporting, and analytical skills.

Work Schedule:

• Shift: 12 hours (factory operations)
• Weekly Off: Either Friday or Sunday (as per management’s requirement)

Salary:

• Commensurate with experience and industry standards

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
