Job Title: Infrastructure Consultant

Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Consultant is responsible for evaluating, designing, and optimising the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure it meets current and future business needs. This includes overseeing data centres, endpoint devices, cloud platforms, and network systems. The role demands a strategic approach to infrastructure planning, with a strong emphasis on security, compliance with national standards, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Assessment & Design:
  
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing IT infrastructure.
  
• Design scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions tailored to business requirements.
  
• Recommend improvements and upgrades to enhance performance and reliability.
  
• Implementation & Optimization:
  
• Lead or support the deployment of infrastructure projects, including hardware, software, and network components.
  
• Optimize system configurations for performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure solutions.
  
• Security & Compliance:
  
• Ensure infrastructure aligns with national and industry-specific security standards.
  
• Implement best practices for data protection, access control, and threat mitigation.
  
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain compliance.
  
• Monitoring & Maintenance:
  
• Establish monitoring systems to track infrastructure health and performance.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues proactively.
  
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, policies, and procedures.
  
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  
• Work closely with IT leadership, vendors, and business units to understand infrastructure needs.
  
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams.
  
• Communicate infrastructure strategies and updates to stakeholders effectively.
  
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
  
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure.
  
• Identify opportunities for automation and modernization.
  
• Contribute to strategic planning and long-term infrastructure roadmaps.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Proven experience in infrastructure consulting, systems engineering, or IT architecture.
  
• Strong knowledge of data centre operations, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), networking, and endpoint management.
  
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, NIST).
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  
• 8-12 years of total Experience in IT

Requirements

We request the provision of the following resources on a priority basis for an upcoming engagement. These consultants are expected to operate independently as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within their respective domains, demonstrating proficiency across multiple technologies. The assignment will be on-site and is expected to extend for more than 12 months. Client will provide all necessary logistical support required for the on-site deployment. City within KSA - Job will be based in Jeddah, but the resources need to Makkah and Madina as and when needed
