Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Technical Lead/Deputy Group Manager, you will lead the in-house infotainment software development team and oversee the full software development lifecycle. Your role involves fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team, ensuring high-quality deliverables from concept to deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving the adoption of best practices in software design, development, testing, and maintenance, and staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in automotive infotainment and Android platforms. You will also manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, mentor and develop team members, interface with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, champion the integration of advanced features into infotainment systems, and handle tasks such as creation of Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Quotation (RFQ), Control Spec/Hardware spec/Software spec, writing, reviewing, and executing test cases, coordinating with allied business partners, and managing schedules in-line with vehicle schedules. Key Responsibilities: - Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team. - Ensure high-quality deliverables from concept to deployment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project objectives. - Drive the adoption of best practices in software design, development, testing, and maintenance. - Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automotive infotainment and Android platforms. - Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. - Mentor and develop team members for professional growth. - Interface with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders to align development efforts with market needs and company goals. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to software and cybersecurity. - Champion the integration of advanced features into infotainment systems. - Create Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Quotation (RFQ), Control Spec/Hardware spec/Software spec. - Write, review, and execute test cases. - Coordinate with allied business partners for the development and deployment of Infotainment in multiple models. - Manage schedule in-line with vehicle schedule. Qualification Requirements: - B.E / B. Tech in CS/ECE with a minimum of 60% marks. - M.Tech in CS/ECE with a minimum of 60% marks (Desirable). - Minimum of 10 years of experience in infotainment and Android software development in the automotive industry. - Profound experience in Electrical & Software design & development. - Hands-on experience in development of Electrical/Electronic components. - Strong leadership skills with experience in managing software development teams. - Knowledge of industry standards like Automotive Grade Linux (AGL), GENIVI, and safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262). Desirable Skills: - Experience in creating automated HIL script for bench-level evaluation.,
