Role Overview

IT Specialist / Developer

This is a remote position with flexible working hours and potential relocation opportunities for high-performing candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general IT support to the company’s global team (hardware, software, network, and security support).
• Assist in maintaining, updating, and securing websites, databases, and internal systems.
• Support platform integration with AI tools, APIs, and automation systems.
• Develop, test, and deploy web and mobile applications as part of the Everest Tutors ecosystem.
• Manage data backup, server maintenance, and cybersecurity protocols.
• Assist with user account setup, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with developers and management to improve system performance and user experience.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for product innovation and technical problem-solving.

Preferred Technical Skills

(Candidates may have expertise in some or all of the following areas)

• Programming languages: JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, or PHP.
• Frontend: React, Next.js, Vue, or similar frameworks.
• Backend: Node.js, Express, or Django.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure.
• Version control: Git / GitHub.
• Web hosting, cPanel, WordPress, or similar CMS experience.
• Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, and IT security best practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh graduates and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
