Information Technology Service Desk

As a Service Desk Engineer in Bangalore, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, you will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly. Your role will involve responding to help desk tickets, calls, and emails, escalating complex issues when necessary, and collaborating with other IT team members to solve technical problems. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems related to computer systems, networks, and software applications, using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Additionally, you will maintain detailed records of support requests, incidents, and resolutions in the help desk system, document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference, and update IT support manuals and knowledge base articles. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance on IT systems and equipment, assist in the deployment of new hardware, software, and system upgrades, and ensure that all IT assets are properly inventoried and tracked. Furthermore, you will participate in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and support best practices, as well as share knowledge and expertise with other team members to foster a collaborative environment. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
