Information Technology Project Manager

You are an experienced IT Project Manager who will be responsible for leading the delivery of digital and technology projects within the Exploration & Production (E&P) domain of a major oil and gas organization. Your role will involve managing complex IT projects across upstream operations, demonstrating a deep understanding of business processes and technical systems in the oil and gas lifecycle. Knowledge of Salesforce-based platforms or integrations would be advantageous. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the entire delivery process of IT projects within the oil and gas E&P sector. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and governance. Additionally, you will be accountable for project planning, resource allocation, risk assessment, and budget tracking. Your role will also involve supervising the implementation and integration of IT systems, tools, or applications used in upstream operations while ensuring timely and quality delivery through coordination with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners. You should be well-versed in applying project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on project requirements. It is essential to ensure that projects meet technical and regulatory standards relevant to the oil and gas industry. Regular reporting of progress, issues, and milestones to senior leadership and steering committees will be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you must possess experience in project management within IT delivery, particularly in the oil & gas sector, with a focus on Exploration & Production (E&P). A solid understanding of IT systems utilized in upstream workflows like asset management, well lifecycle, and field operations is crucial. Strong stakeholder management skills, effective communication, meticulous planning, and proficient documentation abilities are essential. Proficiency in tools like MS Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent project management tools is necessary.
