Job Description

Role Overview: As an IT Project Lead in the eCommerce and Retail domain, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering digital commerce projects. Your role will involve leading the end-to-end execution of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects while meeting business goals and client expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead eCommerce and retail IT projects (B2B/B2C) from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and budget. - Collaborate with design, development, QA, business analysts, and client stakeholders to ensure project success. - Develop detailed work breakdown structures, schedules, resource plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies. - Manage project scope, changes, and client communications effectively to maintain project health. - Implement SDLC/Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, including facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and client demos. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency and effective expectation management. - Work with solution architects and technical leads to address delivery challenges and technical roadblocks. - Monitor and report project KPIs, burn rates, velocity, and other delivery metrics. - Supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production go-live activities. - Conduct post-implementation reviews and prepare project closure documentation. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - 6+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 2+ years in eCommerce and Retail project delivery. - Proven expertise in managing platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce (Magento), SAP Hybris, Shopify Plus, or similar. - Strong understanding of retail business processes including product catalog, promotions, order lifecycle, inventory, fulfillment, and returns. - Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent. - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a global delivery model (onshore-offshore). Additional Details: The company prefers candidates with experience working with OMS (KIBO, Manhattan, Sterling), PIM (Akeneo, Salsify), ERP (SAP, Oracle), and Analytics tools. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps basics is considered a plus. Soft skills such as strong problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, managing multiple priorities, and working under pressure are highly valued. A proactive attitude with a customer-first mindset is also desired for this role.,
