Job Description

We're Hiring: IT Assistant – HNI Family Residence

Location:

IT Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain, and upgrade home networking, Wi-Fi, and smart automation systems (lighting, security, climate, AV, etc.)
Provide on-site and on-call technical support to family members and staff for all digital devices
Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols, including antivirus, firewalls, and encryption
Oversee data backups, recovery plans, and ensure digital privacy
Liaise with third-party vendors for procurement and maintenance of tech assets
Lead or support new property setups and tech refresh projects
Train staff/family on new tech and maintain strict confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
Minimum 3 years experience in IT support/management, ideally with smart home or residential tech exposure
Proficiency in home automation, network security, and consumer electronics
High discretion, professionalism, and a customer service mindset
Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred:

Experience with HNI/Ultra-HNI households or luxury hospitality
Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+)
Flexibility for non-standard hours and travel
