MIT Vishwaprayag University, Solapur is looking for a dedicated IT Administrator to work on University Campus, located at Solapur

IT Administrator is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks of the University and support the user needs by installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, managing network servers, and ensuring all systems are up-to-date and operating smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Maintenance:

  Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripherals.

• Network Management:

  Managing network servers, ensuring network security, and monitoring network performance.

• Troubleshooting:

  Diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues reported by users.

• User Management:

  Managing user accounts, access rights, and security settings.

• Security:

  Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect company data and systems.

• System Upgrades:

  Assisting with system upgrades, installations, and file maintenance.

• Monitoring:

  Monitoring system performance and security logs.

• Training:

  Training users on new hardware and software.

• Research:

  Researching and recommending new IT technologies and solutions.

• Vendor Management:

  Working with vendors to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills:

Educational Background:

He / She must be a Graduate / Postgraduate Engineer in IT / Computer Engineering with relevant experience of minimum 10 years handling such responsibilities independently.
