Inference Network Engineer Lead

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Lead to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in advanced routing and switching, as well as strong expertise in managing and optimizing enterprise network environments. This is a long-term contract opportunity for professionals passionate about network infrastructure and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain distributed AI data center network infrastructures, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Responsibilities include the design of leaf-spine network architecture as well as edge networks for data centers.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot advanced routing and switching protocols, with a focus on BGP Anycast.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain firewalls, ensuring robust network security across all layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and resolve network-related issues.
• Perform network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning to support business growth.
• Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Advanced expertise in routing and switching, including deep knowledge of BGP.
• Extensive experience with firewalls, including configuration, deployment, and management.
• Proven proficiency with the following technologies:
• Cisco (routers and switches)
• Fortinet (firewalls) - good to have.
• Palo Alto (firewalls) - good to have.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex network issues efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) 
• CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, or other advanced network/security certifications.
