Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Collect the style OB (hard copy) from the IE In-charge& obtain his/her suggestions about machines, work-aids & attachmentsrequired & bottle-neck operations in the given style. Discuss with the Line Supervisor & Floor In-chargeabout the given new style before batch setting and prepare potential backlogand remedies report. Coordinate with the Line Supervisor / Floor In-charge/ APM in batch setting & thus ensure quick change-over time. Discussing with the Line Supervisor, Floor In-chargeand IE\u2013In charge about Line Balancing, Target & Efficiency improvement byapplying Industrial Engineering methods. Gradefixation for newly appointed operators in the sewing line. Maintain & update Monthly Skill Matrix of SewingOperators in the Line. Identify and develop potential employees & motivatelow-performing operators. Reducewastage of sewing trims such as threads, elastic, tapes, laces, etc. Ensuringmaximum utilization of operators & machines. Coordinating with P&A department in controllingabsenteeism and attrition. To ensurecordial relations are maintained within the I.E Dept. and with all other departments. Requirements Skill Required: Should be good in communication Should posses good analytical skills
