About the Role

Industrial Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Research & Concept Generation:

  Conduct product and market research, analyze existing solutions, and generate creative design concepts for new modular/ prefab products.

• Product Design:

  Design and develop modular/prefab products and components from concept sketches through 3D CAD models and prototypes.

• Material & Finishes (CMF):

  Define appropriate colors, materials, finishes, and manufacturing methods that align with product performance, aesthetics, and scalability.

• Design Communication:

  Develop visuals, renders, and presentations to effectively communicate design intent and functionality to clients.

• Prototyping:

  Build and test prototypes to validate design and usability.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with

  engineering, architecture, and business teams

  to ensure alignment between design vision, technical feasibility, and product strategy.

• Design System Development:

  Maintain and evolve design standards and documentation for product identity and communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Industrial Design, Product Design, or Engineering Design

  .

• 3+ years

  of experience in industrial or product design with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in

  3D CAD modeling

  (SolidWorks, Rhino, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of

  design principles, materials, finishes, DFMA, and rapid prototyping.

• Good visualization and rendering skills (KeyShot, Adobe Suite, Figma, etc.).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with

  modular products, architectural components, or industrial systems

  .
• Exposure to

  rapid prototyping

  workflows.
• Familiarity with

  human factors, ergonomics, and usability principles

  .
