Indirect Sourcing Specialist

Job Description

Drive Indirect sourcing activities for Wabtec Services Site (Siliguri) Cross functional connect with HR/Finance/Operations/Engineering.
Qualification – Bachelor of Engineering (any discipline) preferred.
Years of experience – Min 5 years years of experience in Sourcing commodities/services/other materials/capex procurement.
Strong negotiation skills/understanding of market cost/communication skills (written and oral)
Proficient in MS office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
Understanding of Vendor base across all regions of India for HR activities/Facilities Management/Supply of consumables and MRO/Professional Services/Logistics/Warehousing/Capex equipment/Temporary labour/IT procurement.
Understanding of ERP systems-preferably SAP/Oracle/M3/other. Should have sound knowledge on interpretation/conversion of PR to PO process.
Sound understanding of Contracts management. Understanding of Terms & Conditions, commercial clauses, legal clauses.
Should have worked in similar organizations managing Indirect Sourcing activities. Understanding of Supplier Ethical code of conduct/integrity/compliance is paramount
