Job Purpose To ensure effective warehouse operations through proper operational control, inventory monitoring, coordination with internal and external stakeholders , and timely execution of activities , while ensuring full compliance with IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), IATF 16949, Responsible Care (RC), and 5S standards . Key Responsibilities 1. Warehouse Operations & Control Ensure smooth receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, WIP, and finished goods. Maintain FIFO / FEFO practices and proper stock rotation. Control warehouse space utilization and layout as per 5S and safety norms . Ensure availability of materials for production and dispatch as per plan. 2. Inventory Monitoring & FG Control Monitor FG (Finished Goods) inventory levels , aging, and status. Ensure accurate stock records in ERP / SAP / manual logs . Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and support cycle counts. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. 3. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with Production for material availability, packaging requirements, and dispatch priorities. Coordinate with Marketing / Sales for dispatch schedules, customer requirements, and delivery commitments. Liaise with Transporters / Logistics partners for vehicle placement, loading, and on-time delivery. Work closely with Quality, EHS, and Planning teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. 4. Timely Action & Dispatch Management Ensure on-time dispatch of finished goods as per delivery schedules. Monitor vehicle loading, documentation, and gate control activities. Take immediate action in case of delays, shortages, or non-conformities. Escalate critical issues to management with root cause and corrective actions. 5. Packaging & Handling Ensure correct packaging materials, labeling, and identification as per customer and quality requirements. Verify packaging integrity to prevent damage during storage and transportation. Ensure compliance with IATF traceability and customer-specific requirements . 6. IMS / IATF / RC / 5S Compliance Follow and implement IMS procedures related to quality, environment, and occupational health & safety. Ensure warehouse activities comply with IATF 16949 requirements , including traceability, control of non-conforming products, and documentation. Support Responsible Care (RC) principles related to safe handling, storage, and transportation of materials. Maintain 5S standards in warehouse areas through regular audits and corrective actions. Participate in internal audits, external audits, and management reviews . 7. Documentation & Reporting Maintain records related to GRN, dispatch notes, delivery challans, COAs, packing lists, and transporter documents . Prepare daily and monthly reports on inventory, dispatch performance, and operational KPIs. Ensure document control as per IMS requirements. Authority To stop dispatch or movement of materials in case of quality, safety, or compliance issues. To coordinate corrective actions within warehouse operations. Knowledge of IMS, IATF 16949, RC, and 5S standards is essential.
