Import Executive

As an Import Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our team by preparing and processing import documentation in accordance with customs regulations and laws. Your attention to detail and knowledge of classification codes will ensure the smooth flow of import transactions. Your responsibilities will include preparing commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations while maintaining accuracy and completeness to prevent delays or penalties. You will work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficiency in the import process. In addition, staying up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures will be essential to your success in this role. Your strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the timely and accurate processing of import documentation. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 2 years of experience in import documentation or a related field, along with a solid understanding of customs regulations and laws. Familiarity with Harmonized System (HS) codes and classification is required, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialized customs software. A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as international trade, logistics, or business, is preferred. Certification as a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or equivalent would be an added advantage. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of up to 40K per month. The job may require working night shifts or US shifts, and the work location is on-site.
