🔷 Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Import Documentation Manager (EDI) with hands-on experience in import/export documentation, EDI filing, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate must be proficient in using Logisys / Live Impex software by Softlink and possess strong knowledge of customs laws, import regulations, and statutory procedures.

🔷 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and file Bills of Entry (BOE) and Shipping Bills (SB) through Logisys / Live Impex (Softlink).

• Coordinate with CHA teams, customs officials, transporters, and clients for smooth clearance operations.

• Ensure compliance with the Customs Act, Tariff Act, and all relevant Allied Acts.

• Monitor and apply applicable notification benefits, exemptions, and circulars related to imports and exports.

• Manage SIMS (Steel Import Monitoring System) and PIMS (Paper Import Monitoring System) registrations and documentation.

• Handle processes for obtaining regulatory NOCs including:

• ADC (Drugs/Pharmaceuticals)

• FSSAI (Food Safety)

• Animal Quarantine (A&Q)

• Plant Quarantine (P&Q)

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation records for audits and compliance.

• Liaise with customs brokers for classification, valuation, assessments, and duty calculations.

• Stay updated with DGFT, Customs, and CBIC guidelines, notifications, and procedural changes.

🔷 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Mandatory proficiency in Logisys or Live Impex (Softlink) for EDI filing.

• Strong understanding of Customs Act, Tariff Act, Allied Acts, and import procedures.

• Working knowledge of trade-related notifications and circulars.

• Experience with SIMS and PIMS registrations.

• Practical exposure to obtaining NOCs from ADC, FSSAI, A&Q, P&Q authorities.

• Ability to classify products correctly under the Customs Tariff (CTH/HSN).

• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
