IELTS Trainer

Job Description

Job Description: We are looking for a qualified and dynamic IELTS Trainer to join our academic team and help students achieve their desired IELTS band scores. The ideal candidate will be experienced in teaching IELTS (both Academic and General Training modules) and passionate about improving students' English language skills and test strategies. Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct high-quality IELTS training sessions for all four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Plan and deliver engaging lessons, practice tests, and mock exams tailored to student needs. Evaluate students’ progress through regular assessments and provide personalized feedback. Help students build test-taking strategies, time management, and confidence. Develop and update teaching materials and resources aligned with the latest IELTS patterns. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and improvements. Stay updated on the latest IELTS exam patterns and marking criteria. Provide group training sessions, one-on-one coaching, and speaking interviews as needed. Assist in curriculum development and contribute to content creation when required. Address students’ queries and support them through the learning process. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience teaching IELTS or English language proficiency tests. Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Familiarity with the latest IELTS exam formats and scoring. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle mixed-ability groups and use various teaching methodologies. Patience, enthusiasm, and a student-centered approach to teaching. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or a recognized IELTS trainer certification. Prior experience in online IELTS training is an advantage. IELTS band score of 8.0 or above (preferred, if not already certified).
