Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Diploma Service Engineer to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of hydraulic systems and components—both in our workshop and on client sites. This role demands strong technical knowledge, a problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders.
• Conduct on-site inspections, identify faults, and provide service reports.
• Assist in disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of hydraulic components.
• Operate hydraulic test benches for performance and pressure testing.
• Support senior engineers during installation and commissioning jobs.
• Maintain detailed documentation of service work and job cards.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during workshop and field operations.
• Coordinate with the material and accounts teams for job completion and billing.
• Participate in regular training and upskilling sessions at the PHE Institute of Hydraulics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical / Hydraulic / Industrial Engineering.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic maintenance or related fields preferred (freshers with good fundamentals may also apply).
• Understanding of hydraulic circuits, pressure control, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with brands like Danfoss, Linde, Rexroth, Parker, or Eaton will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel for on-site service assignments.
