Job Description

As a recruitment professional, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with hiring managers to identify role requirements and plan workforce needs for retail and corporate teams. You will be tasked with developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies through various channels such as job portals, social media, referrals, recruitment agencies, and direct sourcing. Your role will also involve overseeing the entire recruitment process, from job posting to screening, interviewing, shortlisting, reference checks, and extending job offers. Building and maintaining a robust candidate pipeline for retail showroom positions and support functions will be crucial. It will be essential to provide candidates with a positive experience by ensuring timely communication and feedback at every stage. You will conduct initial telephonic/video interviews and coordinate final interviews with stakeholders. Additionally, creating and managing a database of potential candidates for future hiring needs will be part of your responsibilities. Tracking hiring metrics and reporting them regularly to management, supporting employer branding initiatives, and participating in career fairs, retail hiring drives, and campus recruitment activities when necessary are also integral to this role. Ensuring compliance with internal hiring policies and local labor regulations will be critical. In terms of skills and competencies, you should possess a deep understanding of retail recruitment, particularly in luxury or premium sectors. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and MS Office tools. The ability to manage multiple open positions across various locations, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the capacity to work under pressure are valued qualities. Demonstrating good judgment and decision-making skills is crucial for success in this role. As for qualifications and experience, a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with an MBA in HR being preferred. You should have at least 3-6 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in premium/luxury retail or watch/jewelry/fashion industries. Exposure to hiring for multi-city retail networks would be advantageous for this position.,
