Human Resources Information System Consultant

Role Overview: As a Workday Functional Consultant at our client, your primary goal will be to establish a tier 2 team to provide additional build capacity for Workday functional needs. You will be expected to manage lower-complexity builds with minimal oversight in specific domains. Additionally, you will need only light training on Workday tooling beyond what is specific to the Meta environment. Key Responsibilities: - Obtain Workday PRO certification in relevant tracks - Have a working understanding of integrations including EIBs, Core Connectors, and Public APIs - Understand foundational HCM principles such as Business Processes, Reporting, Calculated Fields, Security, and Notifications - Demonstrate knowledge of Workday Docs, letter templates, Questionnaire, Survey, Reference Letters, and custom alerts - Have hands-on experience with Onboarding, Change Job, and Termination business processes - Create Calculated Fields and Custom reports - Build, maintain, and interpret Security Group Permissions - Provide recommendations to Tier 1 Team to fix incorrect transactions - Configure time-off plans including complex accruals, carryovers, shadow plans, and touchpoints with leaves and time tracking - Configure leave policies with balance periods, cascading leaves, intermittent leaves, and eligibility rules - Manage ancillary absence processes such as automated leave return, balance adjustments, and Sell Time Off - Configure Workday time-tracking, time submissions, and work schedules - Generate reports using Absence and Time Tracking data sources - Utilize Workday's API capabilities for the Absence and Time Tracking modules Qualification Required: - Workday PRO certification in relevant tracks - Understanding of integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Public APIs) - Hands-on experience with foundational HCM principles including Business Processes, Reporting, Calculated Fields, Security, and Notifications - Demonstrated knowledge of various Workday functionalities like Docs, letter templates, Questionnaire, Survey, Reference Letters, and custom alerts - Advanced experience with Onboarding, Change Job, and Termination business processes - Ability to create Calculated Fields and Custom reports - Strong understanding of building, maintaining, and interpreting Security Group Permissions,
