Job Description

Job Overview:

The HR Intern will primarily focus on recruitment and talent acquisition activities (80%), including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for various roles. The remaining 20% of the role will involve assisting with HR documentation, onboarding coordination, and other administrative responsibilities.

This position is ideal for MBA students specializing in Human Resources who want to gain practical experience in recruitment and HR operations within a fast-growing startup.

What You'll Do:

Recruitment (80%)

Source potential candidates through online job portals, LinkedIn, and internal databases.

Screen resumes to shortlist candidates based on job requirements.

Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.

Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.

Assist in drafting job descriptions and posting them on relevant platforms.

Track recruitment metrics and maintain updated reports on hiring status.

Support HR in implementing the behavioral assessment round and coordinating feedback with hiring teams.

HR Administration (20%)

Assist in onboarding documentation and orientation coordination for new hires.

Maintain and update employee records, HR trackers, and recruitment databases.

Support HR operations in preparing reports, letters, and other documentation.

What You Bring:

1-2 years of hands on experience.

MBA or Master's degree in Human Resources Management.

Strong interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, and HR operations.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior academic experience in recruitment or HR coordination.

Familiarity with job portals (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Exposure to startup environments and multitasking across HR functions.
