Job Overview: HabitNu Technologies is the Bengaluru-based subsidiary of U.S. health tech leader HabitNu, focused on preventing and managing chronic conditions through digital innovation. The company delivers a CDC-recognized lifestyle change program that blends behavioral coaching, mobile technology, and health tracking tools to drive long-term health outcomes. In August 2025, HabitNu India will launch a new wellness program for diabetes and prediabetes, beginning with a pilot in Bangalore, to promote safe, sustainable weight loss through personalized lifestyle support and digital care. Key Responsibilities: Conduct one-on-one consultations with participants to assess dietary habits, lifestyle, medical history, and nutritional needs. Create personalized diet plans considering participants' food preferences, cultural food types, health conditions, and weight management goals. Educate and coach participants on ideal weight loss practices , portion control, mindful eating, and sustainable nutrition habits. Facilitate cohort-based coaching sessions , encouraging group participation, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support. Track participants' progress, troubleshoot challenges, and update diet plans based on feedback and results. Guide participants on managing nutrition and lifestyle when on GLP-1 medications , understanding their impact on appetite, metabolism, and overall diet planning. Collaborate with health coaches and program managers to ensure an integrated approach toward participants' goals. Maintain accurate documentation of participant sessions and plans in company tools/platforms. Stay updated on current nutrition science, weight management strategies, and emerging therapies. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics , Nutrition , Food Science , or related field. Registered Dietician (RD) certification (preferred) or equivalent recognized certification in India. 1-3 years of experience in clinical nutrition, counseling, or health coaching. Strong understanding of Indian food diversity and the ability to personalize plans based on regional cuisines. Familiarity with GLP-1 receptor agonist drugs and their role in weight management and diabetes care (preferred). Experience with weight management programs and/or lifestyle disease reversal (preferred). Excellent interpersonal skills — empathetic, patient, and motivating. Comfortable working with digital health platforms, video calls, and chat-based communications. Fluent in English; regional languages (Kannada) is a plus. What We Offer: Flexible remote work setup. Your role will involve localizing existing content (posts, reels, stories, etc.) to make it relevant, relatable, and engaging for the Indian demographic. This includes adapting text, imagery, cultural references, and tone — and in some cases, creating entirely new India-specific content.
