About Us

Toronto French Academy (TFA) is one of Canada’s leading French language institutes, helping hundreds of students prepare for immigration, career, and personal goals. We are expanding our team and urgently seeking a results-driven HR Coordinator to handle recruitment and lead generation for our growing network of tutors.

Role Overview

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for actively sourcing, screening, and qualifying French tutor candidates through outbound efforts. This is a high-activity, hands-on role requiring persistence, excellent communication skills, and strong recruitment experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively search for French tutor candidates using LinkedIn Premium, job boards, and other platforms.
• Generate leads for potential hires and maintain an organized recruitment pipeline.
• Call and email applicants from job boards to assess qualifications and suitability.
• Conduct initial screenings to match candidates with role requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach, communication, and candidate progress.
• Coordinate with management to meet urgent hiring needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition experience.
• Proven track record working in at least 2–3 companies in similar roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in outbound calling and lead generation.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn Premium and job portal sourcing.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
