Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (TA):

  • Develop and execute hiring strategies for the South Zone across all functions Tech, Sales, Product, Operations, Support, etc.
  • Own the recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, scheduling, selection, negotiation, onboarding.
  • Align recruitment with workforce planning and business forecasts.
  • Build strong pipelines through internal sourcing, portals, agencies, referrals, and campus hiring.
  • Ensure TA metrics like time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate experience are tracked and optimized.
  • Handle mid-to-senior level hiring directly.
  • Stay updated with market hiring trends and competitor benchmarking.

HR Operations:

  • Oversee employee onboarding, documentation, compliance, and HRIS maintenance.
  • Ensure smooth employee life cycle operations: confirmation, transfers, exits, background checks, etc.
  • Coordinate with central HR functions like Payroll, Legal & Compliance, and C&B.
  • Monitor HR policies implementation, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.) across states.
  • Be the first point of contact for employee grievances and internal HR escalations in the region.
  • Ensure HR process audits and reporting are timely and accurate.

Team Management:

  • Lead a regional HR team of 6–8 members across multiple offices in South India.
  • Coach, develop and upskill the HR team to ensure consistency and service excellence.
  • Assign responsibilities within the team across TA and Ops verticals, while ensuring accountability.
  • Foster a performance-driven, employee-centric HR culture.
  • Collaborate with Business Heads, Location Leaders, and HO HR team for alignment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Total Experience:

    8–10 years in HR, with strong exposure to both Talent Acquisition and HR Operations.
  • Industry Preference:

    Fintech, Banking, Startups, NBFCs, Tech Product, or Services.
  • Proven ability to manage regional/multi-location HR functions.
  • Hands-on experience in hiring for both volume and niche profiles.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and compliance in the South Zone states.
  • Prior experience managing a small to mid-sized HR team is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, travel when required, and work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
