About SWN Shipping
SWN Shipping is a shipping Support Company operated by experienced professionals in shipping, logistics, drilling and port management sector. It extends support to its foreign principals (Ship Owners and ship managers) based out of Dubai and Europe.Company is presently doing commercial management and technical management support of tankers operating worldwide for its foreign principals.The company is based out of Dubai and Mumbai.This requirement is for vessels owned /operated / chartered by our foreign clients.Location – CBD Belapur, Navi MumbaiResponsibilities Key Deliverables – Health, safety , quality and Environment management of Tankers
- Selected candidate will have to manage HSQE requirements of oil tankers ( or dry vessel)
- Overseeing complete HSQE management of vessels including but not limited to preparation of manuals , guidelines and implementation on board.
- Managing compliance with all statutory and flag state requirements.
- DOC , SMC , ISO certification.
- Environmental compliance
- USCG and other oil major compliances.
- Familiarisation of crew and their training requirements
- Management of drills and various other requirements.
- Liasion with Class / flag state / vetting inspectors.
- Monitoring or development of tools for bunker and speed consumption in line with requirements.
- Follow up on ISPS requirement, security guards etc.
- ACT AS CSO/DPA/MR as needed
- Overseeing a team of HSQE executives.
Cognitive abilitiesBuild relationships with stake holders / owners and provide feedback to management services for customer satisfaction. Ability to work in accordance with documented procedures with attention to detail and accuracy. Possess good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with different stakeholders with different backgrounds and ranks.Education QualificationMaster Mariner or First class EngineerGeneral Experience3 to 5 Years as Master or Chief Engineer on tankers and 1-2 Years of shore experience. Gas experience is added advantage. Good communication skills and computer skills.
