Role Summary

The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to business units, driving HR initiatives that enhance employee experience, performance, and organizational effectiveness. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to support Talent Acquisition, Employee Life Cycle Management, Performance Management, MIS & Analytics.

Role & responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely closure of positions.
• Conduct interviews and manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Facilitate onboarding, induction, and cultural integration of new hires.

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
• Drive employee engagement activities, R&R programs, and pulse surveys.
• Conduct stay interviews, exit interviews, and propose retention strategies.

Performance Management

• Coordinate goal-setting, mid-year, and annual appraisal exercises.
• Support managers in capability building and feedback conversations.
• Track and analyze performance metrics and L&D needs.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Ensure timely completion of documentation, HRIS updates, and statutory records.
• Support payroll inputs, leave management, and policy adherence.
• Maintain employee MIS and prepare HR dashboards.

Strategic HR Initiatives

• Participate in workforce planning, succession planning, and diversity programs.
• Support change management interventions and organizational development initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent
• 3-4 years of experience in HR Generalist / HRBP role
• From Fertilizer/Agro Chemical Companies
