Job Description

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic HR Business Partner to join our Global Talent Advisory team. This role is pivotal in executing people strategies that drive business performance and foster a culture of excellence. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across key business services, providing expert guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Support:

  • Support leadership to implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Influence and support workforce planning, organisational design, and capability building.
  • Act as a change agent to drive transformation and continuous improvement across the business.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Provide advice on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Champion initiatives that enhance employee engagement and wellbeing
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Talent Management & Development:

  • Conduct talent reviews, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
  • Partner with recruitment to attract high-calibre candidates and support hiring decisions.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.

HR Compliance & Policy Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Provide guidance to managers on policy interpretation and application.

HR Data, Analytics & Reporting:

  • Leverage HR metrics and dashboards to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and measure HR impact.
  • Prepare monthly / weekly / ad hoc reports and presentations.

Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the firm and equipped with the tools and knowledge to perform effectively.
  • Manage the offboarding process to ensure smooth transitions, conduct exit interviews, and provide insights to improve employee experience and reduce turnover.
  • Facilitate probationary discussions between manages and employees.
  • Facilitate performance bi-annual reviews.
  • Support employees on the performance experience, guide and respond to all queries and action items relating to the process and the system.

Rewards & Compensation:

  • Conduct market related benchmarking to ensure competitive pay structures.
  • Maintain pay equity across roles.
  • Review and payroll and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6 8 years experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within a global law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and data analytics to drive informed decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strategic Thinking Aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Financial Acumen Understanding payroll & compensation models.
  • Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook skills.
  • Strong reporting skills.
  • Experience with Change Management and Organisational Change.
  • SAP SuccessFactors experience
