Role Objective

  • The HR Executive is responsible for ensuring seamless payroll operations, driving employee welfare and engagement initiatives, and maintaining full legal and labor compliance to support organizational effectiveness and a positive workplace culture.
  • This role will be based in Vijayawada, India and report to Leader - HRBP LI Ops, R&D, SCM India.

Key Responsibilities / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage employee and government relations, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and maintaining positive engagement with relevant authorities.
  • Plan, implement, and execute employee welfare and engagement activities to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for workers and contract labor, including accurate and timely processing of salaries, as well as handling Full and Final (F&F) settlements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to contract labor compliances, monitoring and verifying that all contractual labor arrangements meet legal and company policy standards.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to welfare, payroll and compliance matters and provide appropriate solutions or guidance.
  • Maintain detailed records of welfare activities, payroll transactions and compliance documentation for audit and reference purposes.
  • Keep abreast of updates in labor laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance across operations.

Job Specifications

  • Proficient in Telugu
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years (total years of experience -12+ years) of experience in human resources, with a focus on welfare, payroll, and compliance management;
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory requirements, and best practices in payroll management;
  • Proficiency in handling numeric data accurately and manage detailed records;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good oral and written English capability.

Key Relationships and Communication

  • Internal stakeholders: Employees, HRBP Leaders, HR COEs, Finance, Legal, IT etc.
  • Eternal stakeholders: Government, Third-party vendors if any.

Work Conditions

  • Location: Vijayawada, India.
  • Travel: Minimal travel may be required for business meetings and training sessions.
