About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-driven HR Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in salary processing, statutory deductions, and employee benefits administration. This role is critical to ensuring timely, accurate, and legally compliant payroll execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines
• Calculate and deduct statutory components including:
• Good experience in Salary Structure like CTC, Gross salary, basic wages, house rent allowance and other allowance, etc..,
• Provident Fund (PF)
• Employee State Insurance (ESI)
• Professional Tax (PT)
• Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
• Maintain and update payroll records, salary structures, and employee master data
• Coordinate with Finance for payroll disbursement and reconciliation
• Generate and file statutory returns (EPFO, ESIC, PT, TDS) within prescribed deadlines
• Handle queries related to salary, deductions, and tax computation
• Support audits and ensure documentation is up-to-date and compliant
• Collaborate with HR team for onboarding, exit formalities, and full & final settlements
• Stay updated on changes in labor laws and statutory regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or related field
• Looking for Immediate joiner or who can join within the 15Days
• 1+ years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and payroll software
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Date Calculations, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in automating payroll workflows in Excel sheets
• Familiarity with digital compliance platforms (TRACES, EPFO portal, ESIC portal)
• Ability to communicate payroll policies clearly to employees
• Experience with Zoho Payroll is Plus
