Hr Operations Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Executive to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Microsoft Excel and a demonstrated ability to create, manage, and analyse MIS (Management Information System) reports. This role involves supporting core HR operations, maintaining accurate employee records, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic HR decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update HR databases, records, and personnel files with high accuracy.
• Prepare and manage MIS reports on a regular (daily/weekly/monthly) basis covering HR metrics such as attrition, headcount, leave records, attendance, payroll inputs, recruitment status, and more.
• Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF Statements, Charts, etc.) to generate meaningful HR dashboards and reports.
• Coordinate with various departments to gather data and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, attendance tracking, and compliance documentation.
• Provide data support for audits, compliance checks, and management reporting.
• Suggest improvements in HR reporting processes for better data accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in the automation of manual reports or HR processes wherever applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in HR Operations or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (testing may be part of the interview process).
• Experience with MIS reporting and data analysis.
• Knowledge of HRMS or HRIS systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
