About the entity

Our client is reputed Chartered Accountancy / Management Consulting finance firm looking to hire an HR manager/executive

Role Overview

The HR & Admin Executive will be responsible for managing the end-to-end human resource functions and ensuring smooth administrative operations of the firm. This role requires a well-organised, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who can support recruitment, employee lifecycle activities, compliance, office administration, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Human Resources Management

  • Manage the complete recruitment cycle including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave management, and HR databases.
  • Assist in drafting HR policies, employee handbooks, and process documents.
  • Handle employee engagement initiatives and internal communication.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and maintain related documentation.
  • Address basic employee grievances and escalate issues where required.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory HR requirements (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment, etc.) as applicable.

2. Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office administration including stationery, office supplies, housekeeping coordination, and vendor management.
  • Oversee office infrastructure, IT coordination, and maintenance requirements.
  • Manage travel bookings, meeting scheduling, and logistics for internal and client meetings.
  • Maintain asset registers and ensure proper documentation of organisational resources.
  • Support the partners and senior management with administrative assistance as needed.

3. Payroll & Compliance Support

  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, reimbursements, and variable components.
  • Maintain documentation for payroll and support the finance team with required monthly data.
  • Assist in maintaining HR-related statutory documentation and ensure timely filings in coordination with the CA team.

4. Policy & Process Implementation

  • Ensure all employees comply with organisational policies and SOPs.
  • Assist in implementing new HR & administrative systems and improving internal processes.
  • Support in organising training, workshops, and internal development programs.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic HR statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRMS tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Problem-solving attitude with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
  • Prior experience in HR or office administration (experience in a CA / professional services firm preferred).
