Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of HR operations and compliance, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations and engagement, performance management and training, as well as industrial relations at the plant level. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with local labor laws, managing end-to-end hiring processes, addressing employee grievances, coordinating performance appraisals, and maintaining strong industrial relations practices. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with local labor laws, EHS, and company policies. - Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS updates. - Handle statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, gratuity, etc. - Manage end-to-end hiring for plant roles, including blue-collar and staff positions. - Develop sourcing strategies for manpower needs and minimize attrition. - Oversee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs. - Serve as a bridge between plant management and workers/staff. - Address grievances and ensure timely resolution. - Lead engagement initiatives, welfare activities, and culture-building efforts. - Coordinate goal setting, performance appraisals, and feedback cycles. - Identify skill gaps and implement training & development plans. - Support career pathing and succession planning at the plant level. - Maintain strong IR practices and manage union interactions (if unionized). - Negotiate and resolve issues related to labor disputes, disciplinary actions, etc. Qualification Required: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field. - 5-10 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing/plant setup. - Knowledge of labor laws and compliance practices. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience with blue-collar workforce management. - Familiarity with HRIS and MS Office tools.
