Injection Moulding Maintenance

Key Responsibilities: Operating and Monitoring Machines: Running and monitoring injection molding machines to ensure they are operating correctly and producing parts within specified tolerances. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the molding process, such as material inconsistencies, equipment malfunctions, or human errors. Mold Set-up and Changeovers: Performing mold changes, ensuring proper set-up procedures are followed, and optimizing changeover activities to maintain production targets. Quality Control: Inspecting molded parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and stopping production to correct any quality issues. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of production processes, process changes, and any issues encountered. Safety and Maintenance: Following safety procedures, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and reporting any maintenance needs to the maintenance department. Training and Supervision: Training and coaching machine operators, ensuring they follow proper procedures and understand the importance of quality. Continuous Improvement: Participating in projects to optimize injection molding performance and improve process reliability. Material Handling: Properly handling and storing materials, molds, and tooling. Communication: Communicating clearly and consistently with other team members, especially during shift handovers.
