Job Title: HR Manager Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 813 Years Reports To: Director of HR / CEO / Head of Operations About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead our human resources function. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of HR operations and strategy for our growing software company, from talent acquisition and performance management to employee engagement and compliance. You will partner with leadership to shape a high-performance, inclusive, and employee-centric culture. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end HR function including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and benefits . Develop and implement HR policies and frameworks aligned with company goals and local labor laws. Partner with senior leadership to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that support growth and innovation. Manage and improve the talent acquisition process , ensuring timely hiring of top talent in a competitive tech environment. Design and execute learning and development programs , leadership training, and career development plans. Oversee employee engagement initiatives, organizational development, and change management efforts. Drive initiatives around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and foster a positive and collaborative work culture. Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations. Lead HR systems optimization and HR data analytics to drive decision-making. Required Skills and Qualifications: 8 to 13 years of progressive experience in HR management , preferably in a software, IT, or tech services company . Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance in [insert region/country]. Proven experience in scaling HR operations for growing teams and managing cross-functional HR initiatives. Hands-on experience with HRMS tools (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, Zoho People) and ATS platforms. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Strategic thinker with a passion for people and organizational culture. Bachelor's or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Certifications like SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR are a plus. Nice to Have: Experience managing HR in a remote or hybrid work environment . Background in international HR operations or supporting distributed teams. Experience in setting up HR functions from scratch in a startup or scale-up environment.
