HR Generalist - Internship

As the first dedicated HR professional at our startup, you will have the exciting opportunity to build the foundations of Human Resource Management while handling core managerial functions. Your role will involve setting up policies, processes, and practices that shape the employee experience and strengthen our culture. If you are passionate about creating people-centric systems, enjoy taking initiative, and want to be part of a fast-growing organization, this internship offers you the chance to contribute at a foundational level. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, employee handbook, and processes aligned with the organization. - Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding. - Design appraisal systems, feedback frameworks, and employee engagement programs. - Work closely with the Founder to support management and compliance. - Manage travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and company events. - Handle filling out forms, applications, and statutory documentation for events and permits. - Collaborate with leadership to build a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. - Strong understanding of Indian employee related laws and HR compliance. - Ability to set up HR systems and processes independently. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; HRMS exposure is an advantage. - Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
