Company:

Role Purpose

To manage end-to-end HR operations at the plant level, ensuring statutory compliance, workforce management, employee relations, and smooth HR administration aligned with company policies and labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage onboarding, induction, and documentation of plant employees.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, shift rosters, and leave data.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs with Corporate HR / Payroll team.
  • Handle employee queries related to HR policies and benefits.

2. Statutory & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws such as Factory Act, PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Standing Orders, etc.
  • Liaise with government authorities (PF, ESIC, Factory Inspector, Labour Office).
  • Maintain statutory registers, returns, and audits.
  • Support internal and external compliance audits.

3. Attendance, Shift & Time Office

  • Manage time office operations and biometric systems.
  • Monitor attendance, overtime, night shifts, and weekly offs.
  • Ensure accurate LOP and overtime calculations.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and employee counseling.
  • Support performance management and productivity initiatives.
  • Foster positive industrial relations and workplace harmony.

5. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Support hiring for plant roles such as operators, technicians, supervisors, and apprentices.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and apprenticeship agencies.
  • Manage contract labor and vendor compliance.

6. Training & Development

  • Coordinate induction, safety, and compliance trainings.
  • Maintain training records as per statutory requirements.
  • Support skill development initiatives.

7. Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Coordinate with the EHS team on safety programs and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor canteen, transport, housekeeping, and welfare activities.
  • Support medical check-ups and insurance coordination.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR or Industrial Relations.
  • 510 years of Plant HR experience (Manufacturing / Healthcare / Pharma preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Experience handling shop-floor employees and contract labor.
