HPC DevOps Engineer 821

Job Summary

We are seeking a

Technical Lead – HPC (High-Performance Computing)

with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting HPC clusters. This role involves leading infrastructure design and system-level integration, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing compute solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on knowledge in Linux systems, server/GPU architecture, networking, storage, and HPC hardware.Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support high-performance compute clusters.
Manage hardware BOMs, vendor coordination, and oversee hardware release activities.
Configure and optimize Linux-based operating systems for HPC environments.
Define and assemble project specifications and performance requirements at subsystem and system levels.
Support the release of new products to manufacturing, including documentation, procedures, scripts, and golden images.
Ensure project milestones are met within timelines while maintaining system quality and stability.

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience

7+ years of experience in HPC systems, Linux, clusters, and HPC hardware (servers, GPUs, networking, storage, BIOS, BMC).
Proven expertise in Linux OS (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu).
Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and related protocols (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP).
Hands-on scripting and automation experience using Shell and Python.
Exposure to configuration management tools (e.g., Salt, Chef, Puppet).
Educational qualification: BE/BTech/MTech/MCA/MSc in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

(Diploma or standalone 3-year degrees such as BCA/BSc are not eligible).

Must have experience in product companies.
Stability in career history (minimum 2 years tenure per organization, no unexplained gaps).
