Key Responsibilities 1. Guest Room Cleaning Clean, tidy, and set up guest rooms as per hotel standards. Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish amenities. Dust and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and bathrooms. Handle guest laundry as per procedures (if applicable). 2. Public Area & Back-of-House CleaningMaintain cleanliness in lobbies, corridors, staircases, banquet halls, washrooms, and staff areas. Ensure proper upkeep of housekeeping pantries and storage areas. 3. Hygiene & Safety ComplianceFollow hygiene practices, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment. Adhere to hotel’s safety and sanitation standards (FSSAI basics for housekeeping). Report any maintenance issues (AC, plumbing, lighting, etc.) immediately. 4. Guest InteractionGreet guests politely and respond to their housekeeping requests promptly. Ensure guest privacy, safety, and respect at all times. Handle lost & found items strictly as per hotel policy. 5. Inventory Management Ensure proper usage of linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities. Report low stock to the supervisor. Record room status accurately during shift. Skills & Qualifications : Required0–3 years of experience (hotel/restaurant housekeeping preferred). Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and hygiene standards. Physically fit and able to handle housekeeping duties. Preferred Experience in a 3-star or business hotel. Ability to communicate basic English/Hindi/Marathi. Training in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus. Personal Attributes Punctual, disciplined, and honest. Attention to detail with a service-oriented approach. Ability to work in shifts. Team player with a positive attitude. Compensation : As per experience and hotel policy.
