Roles and Responsibilities

A Hospitality Trainer plays a key role in developing skilled, customer-focused professionals for the hospitality industry. Their responsibilities include:

1. Training Delivery

  • Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on hospitality operations such as front office, housekeeping, food & beverage service, and customer care.
  • Demonstrate standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure trainees can perform them confidently.
  • Use interactive methods such as role-plays, simulations, and real-time service demonstrations.

2. Curriculum & Module Development

  • Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, manuals, and assessment tools according to industry standards.
  • Customize training programs based on trainee needs and organizational requirements.

3. Skill Development

  • Train students in essential soft skills such as communication, grooming, time management, hospitality etiquette, customer handling, and teamwork.
  • Ensure trainees understand safety, hygiene, and quality standards followed in hotels and restaurants.

4. Assessment & Evaluation

  • Conduct periodic assessments, practical tests, and evaluations to measure trainee performance and skill acquisition.
  • Provide constructive feedback and help trainees improve through remedial sessions.

5. Industry Exposure

  • Arrange industry visits, guest talks, and on-the-job training opportunities.
  • Maintain coordination with hotels, resorts, restaurants, and hospitality partners for internships or placements.

6. Monitoring & Record Keeping

  • Maintain attendance, training logs, progress reports, and performance records of all trainees.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional or certification guidelines.

7. Mentoring & Support

  • Guide trainees on career opportunities, interviews, grooming, and workplace expectations.
  • Motivate and support trainees to develop confidence and professionalism.

8. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure training meets industry standards, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
  • Stay updated with the latest hospitality trends, technologies, and customer service practices.

9. Professional Coordination

  • Coordinate with management, HR, and departmental heads to align training with organizational goals.
  • Support during audits, accreditation, or skill development initiatives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
