QUALIFICATION : Should be graduate and minimum 1 year of experience in the same field

Roles and Responsibilities

An Office Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day administrative operations within an organization. The major roles and responsibilities include:

1. Administrative Support

  • Assist in daily office operations and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain office files, documents, and records in an organized manner.
  • Handle correspondence such as emails, letters, and internal communication.
  • Prepare reports, memos, and basic documentation when required.

2. Front Desk & Communication

  • Greet visitors, students, staff, and other stakeholders courteously.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and transfer calls to the concerned departments.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and deliveries.

3. Office Management

  • Maintain office cleanliness, orderliness, and proper functioning of equipment.
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies such as stationery and consumables.
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance or purchase of office items.

4. Data Entry & Record Keeping

  • Enter and update data in office systems, registers, or software.
  • Maintain attendance records, student files, and staff documents if assigned.
  • Assist in preparing lists, schedules, and other official records.

5. Support to Staff and Departments

  • Provide assistance to faculty, staff, and management in routine tasks.
  • Help in arranging meetings, schedules, and follow-ups.
  • Support in organizing college events, academic activities, and administrative functions.

6. Documentation & Filing

  • File and retrieve documents efficiently as per office protocols.
  • Ensure confidentiality while handling sensitive data or documents.

7. Coordination & Follow-up

  • Coordinate between departments for smooth communication.
  • Follow up on pending tasks, submissions, and updates as instructed.

8. Other Responsibilities

  • Assist in photocopying, scanning, printing, and binding work.
  • Help with travel arrangements, guest accommodation, and logistics if required.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Principal or Administrative Officer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
