ob Summary:The Night Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and ensuring smooth functioning of all hospital operations during the night shift. This includes monitoring housekeeping staff, X-ray and diagnostic services, billing processes, patient care coordination, and handling emergency situations to maintain seamless hospital operations. Key Responsibilities:Operational Supervision Oversee overall hospital operations during night shift. Ensure smooth functioning of departments such as Housekeeping, X-ray, Billing, Reception, and Patient Services. Act as the primary point of contact for staff and patients during night hours. Housekeeping & Facility Management Monitor cleanliness and hygiene across wards, ICUs, OPD areas, and common spaces. Ensure housekeeping staff are deployed as per duty roster. Handle any facility-related complaints or urgent maintenance requirements. X-Ray & Diagnostic Coordination Ensure availability of radiology and diagnostic services as per patient requirement. Coordinate with on-call technicians/doctors for urgent cases. Maintain proper documentation of diagnostic reports during night shift. Billing & Front Office Supervise billing staff to ensure accuracy in patient billing and cash/credit handling. Resolve any billing-related issues for admitted and discharged patients. Ensure timely patient admission and discharge process. Patient Care & Safety Attend patient/family queries and provide necessary support. Coordinate with nursing supervisors and duty doctors for smooth patient care. Handle Code Blue/Red/other emergencies as per hospital protocols. Administration & Reporting Prepare night shift reports on admissions, discharges, complaints, incidents, and overall operations. Report major issues to the Hospital Administrator. Maintain duty rosters, attendance, and performance of night staff. Qualifications & Skills Required:Graduate in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management or equivalent. Minimum 2–3 years of hospital operations or supervisory experience. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively. Basic knowledge of hospital billing, diagnostic services, and housekeeping protocols.
