Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Horticulturist located in Indore. The Horticulturist will be responsible for managing and maintaining landscapes, gardening efforts, ensuring proper irrigation, and overseeing all aspects of horticulture and landscaping. Day-to-day tasks include plant care, soil management, monitoring plant health, implementing landscape designs, and ensuring environmentally sustainable practices. The role may also require working closely with a team to plan and execute horticultural projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and implement landscape designs for new and existing projects.
• Select and maintain plants, lawns, and trees suited to local conditions.
• Supervise garden maintenance, irrigation, pest control, and fertilization.
• Promote sustainable landscaping and eco-friendly practices.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage horticultural budgets, supplies, and staff performance.

Qualifications

• Skills in Landscape Maintenance and Gardening
• Knowledge and expertise in Botany
• Experience with Irrigation systems and techniques
• Proficiency in Landscaping
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Botany, or related field
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
