Company Overview Cryogenic Industries AG (“CIS”) serves as the parent company for members of the Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (the “NCEIG” or the “Group”) with manufacturing and/or service locations in eight different countries (the “CIS Group companies”). Job Overview The Holdings Compliance & Governance Manager will work with the CIS Group companies and local experts in their countries to establish frameworks for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies with an initial focus on export compliance. This will be a highly dynamic role, balancing oversight of the compliance process and minimizing risks to the CIS Group companies with long-term strategic direction to enhance business performance and profitability. Responsibilities Work with local experts in each of the CIS Group companies’ countries to learn the requirements of each country’s export laws and regulations, and to stay updated on such requirements thereafter. Work with the Corporate Legal & Compliance Officer to establish and maintain checklists, policies and procedures to ensure compliance by each of the CIS Group companies with the relevant export laws and regulations. Work with each of the CIS Group companies to identify other statutory compliance and legal risks and establish monthly reporting to the Corporate Legal & Compliance Officer on pending actions and legal issues. Maintain comprehensive records of compliance-related documents so that audits can be completed quickly and without material issues, including correspondence with government authorities and / or local advisors (legal, accounting, tax, etc.). Cooperate and coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support as required (including financial and non-financial related compliance audits) Identify potential compliance and business risks for CIS Group companies and develop strategies to mitigate them Provide guidance and recommendations to the Finance team and other departments on financial compliance and Treasury matters Conduct training sessions and create awareness programs to educate employees on compliance and corporate governance matters. Other Legal, Tax, Accounting, HR, EHS and Treasury compliance matters as may be requested to support overall corporate compliance and governance for CIS Group companies. Qualifications regulatory requirements for a company, ideally including export laws and regulations, and in creating and overseeing compliance frameworks, policies and procedures. Willingness to learn and maintain knowledge of laws and regulations applicable in several different countries. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards. Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills and sound judgment. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as well as under pressure, in handling multiple competing tasks simultaneously. Strong ethical and professional conduct. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
