WNS is Hiring for Mortgage Underwriters! **only US mortgage experience considered- insurance experience is non considered** Position Summary: As Mortgage Underwriter you will be verifying loan applications and reviewing all 4 Cs, evaluating risks, and making loan eligibility decisions. Qualifications Education: Bachelors in any stream. Experience: 2 + year of mandatory experience in US Mortgage. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experienced mortgage professional with 2+ year with US mortgage underwriting. Knowledge related to foreclosure mandatory Has a complete understanding of Dealayed financing and refinance loans . Has working knowledge of real estate lending criteria and federal, state, and agency compliance. Strong organization and verbal and written communications skills. Ability to make mortgage calculations accurately. Has a complete understanding of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac (FNMA/FHLMC) servicing. Has working knowledge of real estate lending criteria and federal, state, and agency compliance.
