Hiring Manager / Talent Acquisition Manager

Role Overview

build systems, innovate strategies, and execute hiring end-to-end

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end recruitment for multiple roles (senior management, middle management, frontline staff).
  • Build a

    structured recruitment system

    with scorecards, interview processes, evaluation rubrics, and onboarding checklists.
  • Explore and experiment with various sourcing channels: Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, Shine, referrals, campus hiring, networking groups, job fairs, etc.
  • Develop and document

    SOPs, checklists, and hiring playbooks

    for different role types.
  • Plan and execute

    special initiatives

    such as campus hiring drives, walk-ins, and referral campaigns.
  • Analyze recruitment data (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness) and use insights to improve.
  • Maintain a

    strong talent pipeline

    across different functions.
  • Ensure

    quality of hire

    : at least 90% of new hires should meet or exceed performance expectations within the first 6 months.
  • Ensure every new hire is a

    cultural fit

    and aligned with company values.
  • Continuously upgrade knowledge of hiring best practices and implement world-class recruitment strategies.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree (MBA in HR preferred but not mandatory).
  • 38 years of experience in

    recruitment / talent acquisition / HR hiring roles

    .
  • Prior experience in

    startup or fast-paced environments

    will be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary:

    6 – 10 LPA (depending on experience and fit).
  • Performance Bonus:

    10–15% of CTC (75,000 – 1.5 LPA annually), paid quarterly, linked to:
    • Speed of hiring (closing roles on time).
    • Quality of hire (90%+ successful performance).
    • Documentation and system-building.
    • Experimentation with new sourcing channels.
