Role Overview

This position is primarily focused on active recruitment of sales team for our international flight booking process (night shifts). You’ll spend most of your time head hunting and proactively searching top candidates (not just managing job ads).
The remaining part of your role will involve supporting a positive workplace culture and handling light HR admin tasks.

Key Responsibilities: Sales Recruitment (Primary – 60%)

You will be expected to:

• Actively identify sales talent on LinkedIn, Naukri, and other platforms. You must have experience of using all tricks and tips to search potential candidates who are searching for jobs, directly through their profiles. Have knowledge of targeted keywords for this (e.g., “international flight booking,” “GDS,” “USA/Canada travel sales”).
• Engage passive candidates—Find professionals who are currently employed in other companies but may be open to the right opportunity.
• Use your personal and professional networks to close vacant positions quickly.
• Directly connect with candidates via LinkedIn messages, cold calls, and referrals.
• Tap industry connections to get recommendations for high-performing sales professionals.
• Assess candidate suitability through screening calls and role-specific interview questions (especially knowledge of USA/Canada markets).
• Manage the hiring funnel from sourcing to offer acceptance, ensuring speed and quality.
• Maintain a live talent pipeline so urgent requirements can be closed in days, not weeks.

Culture & Engagement (30%)

• Keep the night shift floor environment energetic and team-focused.
• Plan and execute recognition programs, small activities, and team engagement to keep sales teams motivated.
• Be approachable for employee queries, ensuring open communication between staff and management.

HR Admin Support (10%)

• Conduct onboarding and joining formalities for new hires.
• Maintain accurate HR and compliance records.
• Assist with basic admin tasks related to employee data, attendance, and policy communication.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years hiring sales professionals in the travel BPO / international flight booking or a similar industry.
• Mandatory: Prior hands-on experience hiring for USA/Canada travel sales roles (night shifts).
• Proven ability to source and hire passive candidates through direct outreach.
• Strong personal network within the travel industry and proven success in using it to close positions faster.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, and other sourcing tools.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in floor engagement activities for high-pressure sales environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
