Lovely Professional University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced leader for the strategic leadership position who will bring a strategic vision, deep subject matter expertise, and a strong academic/corporate and research background to lead and grow the faculty in alignment with the universitys mission and strategic goals. .

The Professional will have a proven track record of forging strategic partnerships, driving corporate engagement, and aligning university programs with evolving industry demands to ensure career-ready graduates and research excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Industry Interface division to develop and implement long-term strategic plans aligned with LPUs vision and goals.

• Create frameworks for sustained engagement with industry leaders, professional bodies, chambers of commerce, and government agencies.

• Act as a strategic advisor to university leadership on emerging trends in industry- academia collaboration.

• Develop tailored engagement programs with industry (guest lectures, conclaves, corporate mentoring, etc.).

• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, Indian corporates, MNCs, start-ups, and industry bodies.

• Drive the signing and execution of MoUs for joint research, faculty development, student training, internships, and placements.

• Represent LPU at national and international forums, summits, and industry panels.

• Lead the organization of industry conclaves, corporate summits, and interface events at the university.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters Degree (MBA / PGDM / M.Tech / Equivalent)

• Ph.D. preferred (especially with research in management, education, or industry integration fields)

• Must have 15 plus years of rich experience in the same domain.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Deep understanding of industry trends, talent demands, and technological evolution

• Strategic thinking with proven experience in executing high-impact partnerships

• Experience with international collaboration is a plus
