Job Description

We are looking for candidate with 12-15 years of substantial experience of In-licensing & Out-licensing Deals of Generic Pharmaceuticals for US, Canadian Markets. The Candidates should have proven track record of handling Licensing & Partnership Deals. Candidate is expected to have well established Network of Business executives & Professionals within Pharmaceutical Industry. Candidates with combined experience in Business Development AND IP/Portfolio Management, can also be considered.
  • Identifying and Evaluating Projects for In-licensing & Out-licensing, Co-Development. Assessing Business potential, Product development budget,
Preparing Revenue Forecast and Financial Model of potential Partnership.
  • Identifying potential Licensing partners and establishing contacts for licensing opportunities to expand product portfolio.
  • Leading negotiations with potential partners for licensing agreements and working with Legal Department to draft and finalize Licensing and Supply Agreements.
  • Managing end-to-end process of licensed projects like Coordinating with Cross Functional Teams and partners to ensure timely delivery and compliance of project milestones.
  • Working closely with the finance team to conduct financial analysis of licensing opportunities, including revenue projections, cost assessments, and profitability analysis, invoicing and payments and Budget approvals.
  • Monitoring competitive landscape and market trends to identify new Licensing opportunities available.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • M. Pharm. OR (B.Pharm. & PGDM/MBA)
  • 12-15 years of experience in Business development. Combined experience in Business Development AND IP/Portfolio Management, can also be considered
  • In-depth knowledge of ANDAs, formulations, and regulatory requirements in key markets such as the US and Canada.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability of building professional relationship and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in preparing & Determining Pivots table, charts, Sales Forecasts, NPVs, IRRs, Revenue estimates in Excel.
